Our Story
I’m Anita, the heart and soul behind GHlayerion Designs. Born in vibrant and culturally rich Brooklyn in the 1960s, I was fortunate enough to experience the diversity and creativity that is New York. From an early age, I was inspired by the artistry and craftsmanship of my grandmother and mother, who taught me how to sew, bake, cook, and tend to a garden. These traditions shaped my appreciation for creativity and the beauty of handmade things. It was during my time as a Junior group leader for my daughter’s Girl Scout troop, where I taught the girls to crochet and sew, that I rediscovered my passion for crafting. This rekindled love for creating led to the birth of GHlayerion Designs.
The name itself is a blend of the letters from my parents’ names, Henry and Gloria, a tribute to their legacy and the foundation they laid for my creative journey.

Most of our creations are handcrafted from start to finish, with a focus on bringing you products that are both functional and beautiful. Please note that, depending on the complexity of your order, manufacturing and shipping can take between 7 to 15 business days. We encourage you to plan accordingly, as we want every piece to meet your expectations.
